My Story
Hi! I’m Rachel, it took me a long time to figure out how to tell my story and I think I finally got it! So, I didn’t know much about Scentsy when it came out I actually became familiar when I did my first party for someone who I no longer speak to. I’m going to be honest I had a rough experience, I did a party and made roughly $400-$500 within that party and never got anything I was promised out of it. Normally, when you do a party you earn rewards such as credit and half priced items but that wasn’t the case for me. When I confronted the consultant about it, I got left on read and then blocked so at that point I didn’t want anything to do with Scentsy because if that’s what their people were standing for then I didn’t want any part in it.
Fast forward to about a year ago, I ran my own crafting business but at that time I had a toddler and it became too much for me to handle because I was also pregnant. Well, a girl who I met through my business ended up ordering some things from me and we shortly became friends! We talked about Scentsy and I told her about my experience and that I wasn’t really looking for anything to commit to I was already so busy with my toddler and full time job and my appointments etc.
In May of 2021, Scentsy had a join special and my friend (now sponsor) messaged me again and said that Scentsy has this deal, you sign up and get a kit I’ll introduce you to the family and add you to all of my groups they will teach you everything I promise you won’t regret it etc. At first I was really hesitant, not just because of the party experience I had but also because I didn’t have much money but in the same sense I wanted to help a friend and I thought joining would help her, sooo I did with honestly no intention of doing anything with the kit I just wanted the “free” stuff basically and again to help her. I convinced myself no one would buy from me because everyone I knew already had a person, Scentsy is over populated it’s been around for so long, MLMs have such a bad name, just really had every excuse not to do it.
I ended up selling $2,000 in my first month, I couldn’t believe it! I got introduced to the Scentsy Family, the kindest, most selfless, hardest working people I’ve ever met in my life and it was a game changer! In the last 4 months I have made top 5 out of thousands of consultants in sales and I even promoted twice in one month. I am so proud of myself for getting here and even in shock that I made it this far! I now have an amazing team and I’ve built amazing friendships with each person on it!
So, in conclusion if you are even slightly considering it, DO IT! I promise it will all be worth it. Everyone has a story it’s up to you how you want it to end ;)
